In this episode Vernice and Adi talk about depression, the seemingly increasing number of people who struggle with depression, the surfacing of more and more personal stories about depression from famous people we wouldn’t expect them to have similar struggles. They share their personal experiences with it and also some ideas of how they dealt with their own depressions and the depressions of others.

    Vernice, wish you could come and bring me snacks when I’m down! It is so important to just be with people. I think that’s one thing a lot of people feel stressed about – saying the “right thing”. There is no right thing. Don’t even try. “Shit” has been a comforting word.
